Report of a crash with entrapment on Wall Street in Loveland

CINCINNATI. IT SURE LOOKS GROSS BUT AT LEAST THE TEMPERATURES ARE A BRIGHT SPOT. WHEN WE HAVE A SHOT AT SEEING SOME SUNSHINE AND A TIMELINE TO KICK THE RAIN OUT OF HERE BY THE WEEKND. RANDI: LET ME HAVE A SHOT AT SOME SUNSHINE, COMING UP. STEVEN: 81 YEARS LATER HOW ONE LOCAL SCHOOL IS MARCHING IN SOLIDARITY TODAY. KELLY: A BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAPPENING NOW. IT IS IMPACTING A LARGE AREA OF CINCINNATI. IT IS 5:00 ON THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING AND WE HAVE FOG. NOT AS BAD AS YESTERDAY BUT SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF. STEVEN: WE WILL GET YOU STARTED AND READY TO GET OUT OF THE DOOR ON THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING. LET’S GET TO RANDI RICO FOR THE DETAILS. IT HAS FELT LIKE IT HAS LASTED AND LASTED. RANDI: AND WE HAD SOME RAIN LAST NIGHT. NOW THE RAIN IS GONE. THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR DECENT FOG THIS MORNING. HERE’S A LOOK THROUGH THE CITY CAN. — CITY CAM. THERE ARE SOME SPOTS WHERE THE VISIBILITY IS BELOW HALF A MILE. DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI HAS A ONE MILE VISIBILITY. I WOULD ANTICIPATE THROUGH THE MORNING FOG DEVELOPING IN THE WAKE OF THE RAIN. THAT ADDED EXTRA MOISTURE IN THE ATMOSPHERE AND CALM WINDS AS WELL. SO PLAN ON A MURKY LOOKING DAY AGAIN. WE ARE STARTING THIS MORNING NEARLY 60 DEGREES TO THE EAST AND THE WEST IN THE 40’S TEMPERATURES SLIDING DOWN TO THE LOW 50’S AND STAYING THERE AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY. STEVEN: HAPPENING NOW, SEVERAL CINCINNATI NEIGHBORHOODS ARE WAKING UP UNDER A BOIL WATER ADVISORY THIS MORNING. KELLY: THAT ADVISORY, EXPECTED TO LAST UNTIL 8:00 P.M. TONIGHT. WLWT NEWS 5’S MEGAN MITCHELL IS HERE WITH A LOOK AT THE IMPACTED AREAS, AND WHAT RESIDENTS IN THE AREA NEED TO KNOW. MEGAN. MEGAN: KELLY AND STEVEN, THIS COVERS A PRETTY LARGE SECTION OF THE CITY. THE ADVISORY STRETCHES FROM I-74 ALL THE WAY DOWN TO MEHRING WAY AND RIVER ROAD, BETWEEN BEEKMAN AND STATE STREETS AND CENTRAL PARKWAY AND PLUM STREET. THAT COVERS THE WEST END, CAMP WASHINGTON, LOWER PRICE HILL, NORTH AND SOUTH FAIRMONT, SOUTH CUMMINSVILLE AND MILLVALE. THE CDC SAYS PEOPLE IN THESE AREAS SHOULD USE BOTTLED WATER, OR BOIL TAP WATER FOR A FULL MINUTE, BEFORE DRINKING, BRUSHING YOUR TEETH OR PREPARING FOOD. THAT WILL KILL OFF GERMS THAT CAN MAKE YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PETS SICK. DO NOT USE WATER FROM ANY APPLIANCE CONNECTED TO YOUR WATER LINE. WHETHER IT BE A SODA STREAM OR A COFFEE MAKER. THE WATER ISSUES FORCED THE MILLVALE RECREATION CENTER TO CLOSE YESTERDAY DUE TO A WATER OUTAGE. IT PLANS TO OPEN AT NOON TODAY. AND NEW THIS MORNING, THE THEODORE BERRY HEAD START PROGRAM SAYS IT WILL BE VIRTUAL TODAY BECAUSE OF THE WATER MAIN BREAK. WE’VE PUT EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE IMPACTED AREAS ON OUR WEBSITE. WLWT.COM. YOU CAN ALSO FIND THIS ON OUR FREE MOBILE APP. KELLY AND STEVEN. STEVEN: IF YOU HAVE A FACEBOOK GROUP IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD, SURE THAT NEWS. — SHARE THAT NEWS. DEVELOPING ON WLWT, TWO TEENAGERS ARE DEAD THIS MORNING AFTER A CAR CRASH IN CLINTON COUNTY. KELLY: NEIGHBORS IN ELMWOOD PLACE ARE CONCERNED THIS MORNING, AFTER A DEADLY SHOOTING THAT HAPPENED ALMOST A WEEK AGO. 37-YEAR-OLD TOMAS DIEGO WAS SHOT AND KILLED ON VINE STREET. ANOTHER PERSON WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL. LAST NIGHT, THERE WERE SOME TENSE MOMENTS AT THE ELMWOOD PLACE COUNCIL MEETING ABOUT THE POLICE RESPONSE. ELMWOOD PLACE, HAS IT’S OWN SMALL DEPARTMENT, AND INTERIM CHIEF KEVIN KELSEY ADMITTED, NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE THE NIGHT OF THE DOUBLE SHOOTING. >> SHOULD ANYONE COME ACROSS ANY INFORMATION THAT MAY BE HELPFUL IN RESOLVING THAT CRIME. >> WE’RE SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU? YOU DON’T HELP US, BUT WE’RE SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU? >> UNFORTUNATELY YOU KNOW WE CAN’T BE EVERYWHERE AT ONCE. THEY HAD TO RESPOND DOWN FROM LINCOLN HEIGHTS. WE DID NOT HAVE AN OFFICER ON. I LEFT THAT DAY JUST SHY OF 5 PM AFTER BEING HERE ALL DAY. THAT CRIME TOOK PLACE ROUGHLY 4.5 HOURS LATER.
